History of Khin Lom Chom Saphan
History of the restaurant dated back more than a decade when the King Rama IX commanded for a royal construction project to establish a linkage bridge connected Bangkok city and Thonburi city in particular purposes of traffic congestion alleviation and traffic flow facilitation. The project was officially completed on May 7, 2002.
Mr. Thaifah Chayaworaprapa, broadly known as “Gu big brother”, envisioned to take an advantage of his piece of land setting aside The Chao Phraya River with the stunningly beautiful view of the King Rama VIII bridge in closure and apparent overlook. Hence, Khin Lom Chom Saphan was originated on November 11, 2002 as an exqusite riverfront restaurant, an ideal dining venue for eateries in an ambiance of musical entertainment and the breathtaking view over the river of king.
In last decade, Khin Lom Chom Saphan has been regarded as the first finest riverfront restaurant in nearby area with its excellent taste of seafood appealing ordinary people to connoisseur and from locals to foreigners. The wooden building, charming contemporary art décor, white-color crossed lath, fresh blowing wind, tasty seafood emerge the perfect sensation of warmness and eye-comfort and be a true reflection of what river-resident life was like during the past century. Khin Lom Chom Saphan immediately rose into fame and has been in limelight among Bangkokians since then.
At the beginning, Khin Lom Chom Saphan served merely tens menu. Creative and innovative dishes has gradually been developed by a good coordination between our mastery chef and the restaurant’s traditional secret recipe. Talk-of-the-town dishes such as “pickled-egg crab papaya salad”,” Herbal sea bass” has spread out by words from one to others until recent days. Our primary concerns on quality ingredients selection, taste of food caring and boundless creativity diversify plenty of menus to our customers. Nowadays, more than hundred of dishes are offered to choose from such as Langchester Freshwater Prawn wrapped in leaves, Bavarian Pork Knuckle, Spicy&Sour Soup with braised pork tendon.

Inspired by prevalence of colonial architectural residences in the reign of King RamaV called “Ruean Pan Ya”, the charming restaurant appears in traditional white color-painted wooden building meets contemporary art deco style setting aside the Chao Phraya River.
